International Federation of Pétanque and Provençal Game : members, affiliated national federations, history. The International Federation of Pétanque and Provençal Game was created in 1958 and has around 600 000 licensed players in 73 national federations.

The “CONFÉDÉRATION MONDIALE DES SPORTS DE BOULES” (C.M.S.B.), a confederation of international nature, is established within the federations of bowls sport, which includes the “Confédération Bouliste Internationale” (C.B.I.), the “Fédération Internationale de Boules” (F.I.B.), the Fédération Internationale de Pétanque et Jeu Provençal” (F.I.P.J.P.) and the “World Bowls” (W.B.).
